Objective

The Competition aims to enhance students' understanding of the vital role played by zebrafish in safeguarding Hong Kong's drinking water safety and supporting national space science experiments through parent-child collaborative colouring creations, featuring the Water Supplies Department's (WSD) mascot "Water Save Dave" and the zebrafish, the water quality monitoring partner in the "Biosensing Alert System". It also helps students appreciate that quality drinking water does not come easily, thereby enhancing their awareness of cherishing water resources.
