Under the theme of "Climate Change and Water", this competition aims to let parents and students learn about the relationship between climate change and water, and raise their awareness of water conservation in daily life through parent–child cooperation in colouring a poster.

Entry Specification

Schools may copy the colouring worksheet with A4-sized white paper (297 × 210mm) to students.


Entrants should draw on the colouring worksheet provided by WSD and focus on expressing the relevant information and water conservation messages related to the theme of this competition: "Climate Change and Water" in the blank space. Entrants may choose their own colouring tools. Entry should be in two-dimension.


The deadline of submission is 5 August 2022 (For submission by post, the postmark date will be regarded as the date of submission). Late submission will not be considered. Entrants should complete the colouring worksheet and submit the entry to their school.  Schools should collect all the entries and post to Room 4603, 46/F, Immigration Tower, 7 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong (Water Conservation Unit) together with the completed Reply Slip by the deadline. Please mark '"Climate Change and Water" Parent-child Poster Colouring Competition' on the envelope.  

Judging Criteria

Relevance to the theme (40%): Promoting the message of "Climate Change and Water" and water conservation effectively
Overall aesthetics (30%): Composition and use of colour
Creative composition (30%): Degree of creative expression

Awards and Prizes

The competition will have a Champion, a First Runner-up, a Second Runner-up, 30 Merit Awards and a "Best Participation School Award".
