Hong Kong Water Race 2018
Organised by Wofoo Social Enterprises, co-organised by WSD and The Open University of Hong Kong, "The Hong Kong Water Race" has reached its sixth year and was successfully held at the Fa Hui Park, Mong Kok on 22 April 2018. Over 4,500 participants competed in city orienteering by completing various water-related tasks at checkpoints in Yau Tsim Mong. The Race raised public awareness of water crisis and enabled participants to learn more about the concept of water footprints, thereby inspiring them to adopt appropriate water conservation practices in daily life.
Apart from taking part in the Race, WSD set up game booth and workshop to convey the importance of cherishing every drop of water. WSD volunteer team also assisted in staging the Race. Our Mascot, Water Save Dave, showed up to cheer for the runners!
