In June 2021, the Ex-Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir (Ex-SSPSR) was accorded a Grade 1 historical building status by the Antiquities Advisory Board. The Water Supplies Department (WSD) has already launched a virtual tour of the service reservoir. WSD now allows restricted opening of the service reservoir for visiting by the public. The visiting programme will be conducted in the form of guided tours with a view to enhance public's understanding of the historical background and appreciate the internal structure of the Ex-SSPSR, so as to increase public’s awareness on conservation of historic waterworks buildings and heritage. WSD welcomes the general public (individuals and groups) to take part in the “Guided Tour to Ex-SSPSR”. Details of the guided tours are as follows:

The Water Supplies Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("WSD") is concerned to ensure that all personal data submitted through WSD’s “Guided Tour to Ex-Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir” Internet website are handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO).

The information provided by you may be disclosed to other Government bureaux, departments and related organisations for the purpose mentioned above. Unless permitted or required by law, WSD will not disclose your personal data to other non-related third parties without your prior consent.
Under the PDPO, you have the right to request access to or correction of the personal data provided. Such requests should be made in the Data Access Request Form OPS003 and sent to us by mail to the Public Relations Unit of the Water Supplies Department. By virtue of Section 20(3)(e) of the PDPO, a data access request may be refused if it is not made in this form. The Form is available in the Reception Counter of the Water Supplies Department Head Office and any District Office or can be downloaded at Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data's website.
