Non-domestic water use accounts for approximately 45% of the total water consumption in Hong Kong.
To enhance water efficiency in the non-domestic sector, we have developed Best Practice Guidelines (BPG) setting out practical water saving measures for use as a reference the hotel and catering industries' reference. The BPG provide a water efficiency checklist to facilitate regular water audits for assessment of water use performance.
We have also produced a series of water-saving stickers to encourage employees and customers to cherish water and cultivate their awareness of water conservation.
